Amit Mishra (born November 24, 1982 in Delhi ) is an Indian cricketer . He is a right arm leg break bowler and right-handed lower order batsman. Mishra is an attacking leg spinner who bowls a praised leg break and googly . He plays for Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League . he got a hat-trick against Deccan Chargers in the inaugural edition of the IPL in 2008. Mishra’s best bowling stat during IPL is 4-0-17-5.
Mishra made his Test cricket debut against Australia in the Second Test at Mohali .He took 5 wickets for 71 runs in the 1st innings of Australia and then 2/35 in the second innings, making him the leading wicket-taker as India proceeded to a decisive victory. At the start of the tour, Mishra played in two ODIs against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in a triangular tournament after Harbhajan was rested for the final two round-robin matches.
