Sunil Gavaskar

Sunil Gavaskar, popularly known as Sunny, is an Indian cricketer. He is member of the Indian Premiere League Governing Council.

Gavaskar has served as an advisor to the Indian cricket team during the home series against Australia in 2004. He is the chairman of the ICC cricket committee. The Border-Gavaskar Trophy has been instituted in his co-honor.

Gavaskar was honored with the Padma Bhushan award in 1980.
