Why cant Sourav Ganguly be in IPL 2011?

Sourav Ganguly - IPL 4During IPL Auction 2011 former Indian Captain Sourav Ganguly had rised his base price to $400,000. None of the ten franchisees had shown interest in bidding for Ganguly at the auction that took place at Bangalore on January 8 and 9.

IPL Kochi team expressed interest to sign Ganguly at base price, but IPL Governing Council declared that they would not allow any capped Indian players, who were not bid for in the auction to be signed outside it by the franchises.

IPL Kochi had written to the BCCI requesting permission to do the same. The BCCI did ask for the permission from the rest of the franchises to allow Kochi to do so, but three teams objected the move.

After the Council meeting yesterday, IPL Governing Council as they declared that they would not allow any capped Indian players, who were not bid for in the auction to be signed outside it by the franchises.

Fans of Prince of Kolkata A.K.A. Dada across the country are very disappointed seeing him going out of IPL.

    dada is good cricketar.he is my favorite cricketar.i dont watch the ipl matches with out sorav.
