Manoj Tiwary

Manoj Kumar Tiwary (born November 14, 1985 in Howrah , Bengal ) is an Indian cricketer. Tiwary was signed by the Delhi DareDevils of the Indian Premier League for a sum of USD 675,000. He was traded to the Kolkata Knight Riders in exchange for Moises Henriques before the 2010 IPL season. In the auction for 4th edition of the Indian Premier League , he was signed by the Kolkata Knight Riders for a sum of USD 475,000.

An aggressive right-handed batsman.His quick rise gained the attention of national selectors by just taking 14 games to score over 1000 runs, at an average of 56. He eventually made his debut against Australia in the 2008 Commonwealth Bank Tri-Series in which he scored only 2 runs in his only innings.
